Here's what's new with our sponsors for August:

This felt is truly incredible and such a treat to craft with!

August is a big month for fabric over at Drygoods Design! Keli has already received new apparel fabrics and paper goods from Rifle Paper Co., plus the latest from Cloud9, Free Spirit and Andover. Later this month brings Bella (the new collection from Lotta Jansdotter, can't wait!), Liberty Lifestyle, Geocentric (Cloud9's first home dec weight fabric), Field Study by Anna Maria Horner, Chicopee by Denyse Schmidt and plenty more!

For locals who can visit the brick-and-mortar store: Drygoods Design is welcoming the Seattle, Portland and Vancouver BC Modern Quilt Guilds this Sunday and will be open until 9 p.m. on August 11th for Ballard Art Walk!

The gals over at Fat Quarter Shop have been hard at work designing patterns and compiling quilt kits. Design manager Jocelyn Ueng’s Garden View pattern and kit was featured in the September/October 2012 issue of McCall’s Quilting Magazine! You can find Fat Quarter Shop's entire selection of quilt kits here.
How fun is this Riley Blake Chevron fat quarter bundle? How about the Candy Dish pillow pattern by Jaybird Quilts? I seriously don't need anymore fabric, but eeeee, Indie by Pat Bravo is so fabulous! There is SO much stuff in the What's New section.

You can find Fat Quarter Shop online here:

Last but not least, our friend Karen over at Sew Well Maide has been working hard on two new patterns that will be released later this month: the Multi-Purpose Carry All Bag (will feature Fresh Cut by Heather Bailey) and a new Lap Quilt (similar to her previously made Little Red Quilt but will feature fabrics by Lotta Jansdotter!!). I might need to make that tote bag for myself...
This is one talented lady. I can't wait to see the patterns!

Thank you bunches to these lovely businesses for sponsoring us! Please go pay them a visit or two and have a great weekend!
Ooh, thanks for reminding me about Drygoods Design! I'll be in Ballard later this weekend, I may just have to wander by....
ReplyDeleteOoh have fun! Tell Keli I said hi and good luck not spending a fortune on far too many bee-oo-tiful fabrics!
DeleteThanks Jenny. Now I just have to do as I said I would!! Darn - why can't some creative person out there create more time!! Cheers, Karen.
