Feather Your Nest: Random Winner

Happy Monday!

It's time to announce the 3 lucky winners in the Feather Your Nest contest and series. Over a hundred people signed up to participate in this competition, and we received 73 wonderful entries. (Go browse the Feather Your Nest Flickr pool if you haven't yet!) Our judges worked hard to determine a winner, and many of you voted to select your favorite(s). We'll announce those 2 projects and lucky prize recipients a tiny bit later today.

Right now, let's start with the winner selected by random.

Congratulations Amy of form*work!

Amy's pillow was made with white wool fabric upcycled from a pair of her grandmother's trousers, Joel Dewberry wood grain fabric from her stash for the branch, and scraps of felted wool sweaters for the bird and leaves. What a perfect way to upcycle materials to create a beautiful project! You can read more about Amy's pillows and her other crafty projects on her blog here.
