Link Love: Raffle Edition!

By-Jenny2

With our fundraiser in full swing, I thought I'd use this episode of Link Love to share a little bit about all our awesome prize donors! (If you haven't read about our raffle yet, go here. Your entry benefits tornado disaster relief efforts in our southern states.)

At the time of my writing, we have raised $930. The fundraiser ends Wednesday night and our goal is $2000. The Southeast sure needs our help. Look up coverage of the tornadoes' aftermath on local news outlets and the reports are harrowing: damage, death, destruction and the grim reality of loss.

When we started organizing this fundraiser, we contacted all our favorite shops, designers, bloggers, partners and friends. They were all so generous, it made our jaws drop! Here's a little round-up of these fabulous people and companies (in alphabetical order).

Alabama Studio Style by Natalie Chanin

A Child's Dream Come True
Their shop offers natural crafts and toys, children's books, wool felt and felting supplies. We featured them during Felt Week.
>>Special offer to our readers: order $40 or more online, and get 15% off your order with the code STUMBLES. Good through May 31, 2011.

A Sewing Journal
Melanie curates the best source of fabric news, blog love, pattern reviews and other general sewing inspiration out there!

Alabama Chanin
"A lifestyle company that focuses on creating an array of products through slow design and sustainability", Alabama Chanin donated a copy of each of their beautiful books to the raffle.

Alewives Fabrics
I wish I lived in Maine just so I could meet Rhea in person, she's just the sweetest ever! Alewives Fabrics is one of the most gorgeous online fabric shops out there. I dream of fabric after every visit.

Anna Maria Horner
If you've read this blog for a while, you know we can't stop gushing about her fabrics. Anna Maria Horner is an uber-talented designer, sewist, author and blogger. She has donated a whole pattern collection to our raffle!

Bird and Little Bird
Annie writes the lovely blog Bird and Little Bird, contributes at The Magnifying Glass and creates the bookish-kid-friendly e-zine "Alphabet Glue". Her two cute animal patterns are up for grabs in the raffle.

Crescent Moon Jewels
Jennifer creates beautiful jewelry and accessories out of Nashville, Tennessee! Her sassy feather earrings are a prize in the raffle.

Fat Quarter Shop
I could spend an hour browsing for fabric on this website (and have done so on more than one occasion, ahem). Fat Quarter Shop offers all the fabric and kits you'd ever need for a quilt or sewing project.

Feathered Nest Studio
Cute and creative handmade stuffies, decorative items and upcycled goodies like the superhero cape in Prize #4!
>>Special offer for raffle participants: save 25% off anything in the shop with coupon code HELP2011. Good through July 1st.

Hawthorne Threads
Beautiful fabric and a beautifully curated web shop. I especially love "Lindsay's Picks" on the homepage, the creative color combos never fail to inspire me!

Lark Crafts
Tons of great craft and sewing books (and they send some to us to review and give away!). Check out the Free Projects on their blog, lots of nifty stuff!

Magpie Patterns
All the latest and cutest patterns for your sewing, knitting, crochet-ing and embroidery projects. LOVE this shop!

Maya*Made
Maya writes a wonderful, creative and nature-friendly blog. Angel and I have been fans for a long time. She inspired my love of burlap as sewing material.

Oliver + S
Sewing patterns for stylish and well-tailored kids clothes, their stuff is awesome.

Rashida Coleman-Hale
We heart Rashida and her blog I Heart Linen. She is a super talented designer and author. Can't wait to see her new fabric line and new book in stores!

Siam Square
Masko makes gorgeous and practical bags and pouches with interesting fabrics. Her items look so well-made!

Spoonflower
Custom printed fabric by indie designers. So cool. I will soon be making pillows with some of their linen-blend fat quarters!!

The Long Thread
One of my favorite blogs out there! Ellen posts her own projects as well as guest posts and tutorials, Etsy finds round-ups, and other creative and crafty goodness. Her new book 1-2-3 Sew! is about to hit bookshelves everywhere (and is up for grabs in our raffle!)

Thank you again to all these wonderful folks for participating in our raffle. We are awed by their generosity and hope they will encourage you to donate a little something to our fundraiser. $10 gets you a chance to win one of the 5 amazing prize packages and help tornado victims with the same click of the mouse.
